English language challenges

I can say that my experience learning English at college has been better than in high school, I think that writing paragraphs has helped a lot to improve and have better comprehension of the language and the different ways to say things so we can at least communicate with English speakers. I definitely need to improve my speaking skills, in my mind I can do it perfectly (well, almost) but my mouth doesn’t follow anything my brain says when I have to talk with another person, probably because I get nervous and forget everything that I know, I also have trouble with telling the time and I still get confused the days of the weeks. I usually use English, well, for the class… also when watching series or movies, I put the subtitles also in English so I can understand the words that I don’t know or when the accent it’s too strong for my understanding, if I already watched the series I turn off the subtitles so I can get used to it. Changes to my study programme

 Some changes I would like to make would be: First things first, the quantity of quotas to register on elective subjects, I haven’t experienced that yet since I am on my second year but there have been already some problems because the people who choose graphic design can’t take their careers subject with peace. Second, I would like the college to provide the programs that will be required during the degree, I have understood that the faculty computers have them installed but it still would be great if the university has an agreement with, for example, Adobe and at least have discount for the suite. By the teaching methods, that’s very subjective and depends also on the subject… for my liking and bad luck, I had to take classes with industrial designer’s teachers and didn’t enjoy so much since I prefer graphic design and some teachers were not understanding with the feelings of the students.
